Mackenzie Jenuwine
As a Counseling Psychology Ph.D. student at Wayne State University, my research interests include psychosocial rehabilitation models, community-based participatory research methodologies, and the development of psychometric tools. I also have an interest in the social and occupational impacts of trauma among first responders. My previous career as a firefighter/paramedic has equipped me with a deep understanding of the unique needs of first responders, which has furthered my interest in working with this population.
My clinical experience includes providing psychotherapy and conducting comprehensive psychological assessments.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, spending time out on the water, and spoiling my two rescue dogs.
