Marysa Walz
As a research assistant, Marysa works on projects like "Bringing Exposure Therapy to Real-Life Contexts with Augmented Reality," and "Effects of High-Intensity Interval Training on Stress, Anxiety, Depression, and Cellular Aging."
Marysa is graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Biological Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where she started at STARC through an internship.
Planning to pursue graduate studies in Cognitive Neuropsychology, Marysa is particularly interested in the neurobiological processes related to interpreting, retaining, and understanding information.
She enjoys going to the gym, attending concerts and music festivals, gaming and trivia, and staying physically active.
