I graduated from Wayne State University in 2020, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I joined the STARC team because of my interest in mental health and neuroscience research. As a Syrian American, the Stress Risk and Resilience of the Syrian and Iraqi Survivors of Torture project is one that is of deep personal interest to me. 

I am very passionate about mental health advocacy, specifically in marginalized communities where mental health is often overlooked. My future plans include pursuing graduate school and a career involving a blend of psychology and neuroscience research.
