WSU’s Expand XR takes world stage, earning top honor for transforming PTSD care
We’re excited to share that our Expand XR program won the 2025 XR Health Care Solution of the Year award at the UnitedXR Europe Conference and Expo for its innovative use of extended-reality technology in PTSD treatment. By combining immersive AR tools with evidence-based trauma research, this project has been breaking new ground in helping patients safely process traumatic experiences and highlights STARC Lab’s commitment to advancing science-driven solutions in mental health.
