I’m a half Lebanese half Iraqi Arab American Alumni from Wayne State University. I majored in neuroscience and minored in public health. As a first-generation immigrant student, I made it my mission to get an education where I could be part of a global and psychological health initiative. I really want to make an impact and being a part of STARC lab is my steppingstone in allowing to help promote and address health needs in the future and it is my way of moving forward towards my ambitions. I love the focus of the research project and I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to be a part of something so great.

Apart from volunteering, I work as a Medical Assistant at an Urgent Care facility. During my free time, I enjoy baking, going fishing with my husband, bike riding on new trails, as well as exploring the outdoors with him.
